Last week, the ELIXIR Hub celebrated the End of year meeting to discuss the excellent progress of our Nodes and our team during this complicated year.
We have prepared a Christmas video card to thank all ELIXIR members and we've shared our new year's resolutions.
We welcome Professor Ana Sofia Carvalho, from the Catholic University of Portugal, who has just joined ELIXIR's Scientific Advisory Board as an ELSI specialist.

'CSVS, a crowdsourcing database of the Spanish population genetic variability'
As agreed by Heads of Nodes at their TC last week, the Request for Proposals for the Data Platform Implementation Studies is now open. Nodes are encouraged to submit proposals as of 1 February until the closing date on 31 March.
