We are pleased to announce four new ELIXIR Platform Leads who will be taking up their roles from January 2022. We welcome the new additions and thank those standing down for their contributions over the years.
Each of ELIXIR’s five Platforms (Data, Tools, Compute, Interoperability and Training) has a Platform Coordinator based at the ELIXIR Hub, and three Platform Leads, also known as ExCos, who are based at ELIXIR Nodes. These people are collectively responsible for the operations and activities of their respective Platforms, and help to drive new developments in these areas.
The Platform Leads shown in the table below will serve a two-year term starting from 1 January 2022. Those highlighted in orange are the new additions to the team. They replace Jo McEntyre (EMBL-EBI) for the Data Platform, Tommi Nyrönen (ELIXIR Finland) for the Compute Platform, and Carole Goble (ELIXIR UK) and Helen Parkinson (EMBL-EBI) for the Interoperability Platform.
