We are pleased to announce six new ELIXIR Platform Leads who will be taking up their roles from January 2020. We welcome the new additions, and thank those departing for their contributions over the years.
Each of ELIXIR’s five Platforms (Tools, Data, Compute, Interoperability and Training) has a Platform Coordinator based at the ELIXIR Hub, and three Platform Leads who are based at ELIXIR Nodes. These people are collectively responsible for the operations and activities of their respective Platforms, and help to drive new developments in these areas.
The Platform Leads shown in the table below will serve a two-year term starting from the 1 January 2020. Those highlighted in bold are the new additions to the team.
