ELIXIR Channel on F1000R publishes two new articles

ELIXIR Reports, the ELIXIR channel on the F1000 Research publication platform now includes two new articles, presenting activities of ELIXIR France and ELIXIR Netherlands.

The first article by a group of authors from ELIXIR France, presents BioShaDock, a community driven Docker registry for bioinformatics, which provides a local and fully controlled environment to build and publish portable bioinformatics software. BioShaDock is designed to interact with the ELIXIR Service and Tools registry (bio.tools) to facilitate software discovery. Visit BioShaDock website.

The second article introduces the Dutch Techcentre for Life Sciences (DTL), the coordinator of the ELIXIR Dutch Node. The paper focuses on the Data programme, describing DTL's activities and expertise in data integration and stewardship in various life science initiatives across the field. The authors also explain DTL's role as the Dutch Node of ELIXIR and present the concept of Bring Your Own Data (BOYD) meetings, developed by DTL and ELIXIR. Visit DTL website.
