The High Level Expert Group (EOSC) on EOSC has published its Putting EOSC into Practice report, which features ELIXIR as an EOSC in Practice Story. The HLEG is also running public consultations on the Rules of Participation and FAIR data. Both close on 5 August.

Applications are open for the Executive Masters in Management in Research Infrastructures , an international management development programme tailored to the specific needs of Research Infrastructures. Applications are welcome for the full master, as a team, and for individual modules. Closing date for applications is 6 July.

The eROSA project opens its "Roadmap for a pan-European e-Infrastructure for Open Science in Agricultural and Food Sciences" for review. You can provide your feedback via this online form by 2 July 2018.

ELIXIR-EXCELERATE, in collaboration with ELIXIR Italy is pleased to announce a Train the Trainer (TtT) event on 27-28 September in Rome, Italy. Candidates from ELIXIR Nodes who cannot benefit from the EXCELERATE funding may apply for an ELIXIR Staff Exchange Programme Travel Grant.
 

The Research Object Workshop (RO2018) to take place on 29 November 2018 at the IEEE eScience 2018 in Amsterdam, Netherlands welcomes submissions of academic abstracts, data/software articles and short research articles. Accepted RO2018 presenters can apply for a Travel Bursary, sponsored by BioExcel.

ELIXIR France is very proud to announce that an international consortium driven by INRA and CEA has sequenced the genome of oak. The work published in Nature Plants reveals main genomic features related to the longevity of this emblematic species.


There are still few places available for the next ELIXIR Training on Plant Genome Assembly and Annotation on 24-28 September 2018 in Montpellier, France.
 
EMBL-EBI is running a workshop on 13 September in Hinxton, UK, for developers working on 3D / 4D genomic analysis tools who would like their tools to join a a virtual research environment for multiscale genomics. Organised by the MuG project.

Masaryk University (part of ELIXIR Czech Republic) is looking for Scientific Software Architect to join the CERIT-SC team.

ELIXIR Switzerland is looking for post-doc to work on life science semantic data integration. The post holder will be part of the CALIPHO group, affiliated to the University of Geneva.

ELIXIR Sweden is looking for one or two agile system developers to join the SciLifeLab team at the Uppsala University.
