ELIXIR Featured in the Digital Workforce OECD Report
ELIXIR was highlighted as one of the 'networks at the forefront of the research response to COVID-19' in the Foreword of this recent report from the Organisation for Economic Development and Cooperation (OECD).
Celia van Gelder (ELIXIR Netherland) and Corinne Martin (ELIXIR Hub) contributed directly to the report, entitled 'Building digital workforce capacity and skills for data-intensive science'. And last October, Celia presented ELIXIRs approach to tackle the digital skills gap at the OECD international expert workshop

Uses include data cleaning and transformation, numerical simulation, statistical modelling, data visualization, machine learning, and much more.'
ELIXIR Spain | GENyO launches new COVID-19 Platform DatAC (Data against COVID-19)
Created by GENyO, a member of TransBioNet
The new platform integrates COVID-19 data with environmental and meteorological factors for each Spanish region. DatAC not only centralises and integrates data, but also implements different analysis and visual exploration functionalities to find relevant patterns.
It has been developed by the GENyO Bioinformatics Unit (part of TransBioNet), lead by Pedro Carmona Sez and the Statistics Department of the University of Granada.
