Don't miss the chance to apply for the ELIXIR Knowledge Exchange Scheme

Deadline 31 October 2021

The EKES covers travel and accommodation expenses and salaries of ELIXIR members to work on a collaborative project with an industry partner.
For 2021, we will allow salary costs up to 1 PM to be included in the project proposal. This new possibility has been introduced to facilitate knowledge exchange amid travel restrictions.

Help shape the next Interoperability Platform Workshop

This autumn, the ELIXIR Interoperability Platform will be organising a workshop on the FAIRification of genomic tracks (genome browser data) using FAIRtracks, an ELIXIR Recommended Interoperability Resource.
If you have used genome browsers or genomics track files, and wish it was easier to find, access, interoperate with and reuse these, you can help shape the workshop and influence the further development of FAIRtracks.

Mutational signatures and heterogeneous host response revealed via large-scale characterization of SARS-CoV-2 genomic diversity

Supported by ELIXIR Italy

'To dissect the mechanisms underlying the inflation of variants in the SARS-CoV-2 genome, we present a large-scale analysis of intra-host genomic diversity, which reveals that most samples exhibit heterogeneous genomic architectures, due to the interplay between host-related mutational processes and transmission dynamics.'
