ELIXIR's COVID-19 Communications Plan
We are making available our communications plan to disseminate ELIXIR's research and efforts related to COVID-19.
We want your feedback on this and encourage you to leave your comments on the strategy document.

New Publication on Nature's Scientific Data Journal
On the 5th of May, a publication was released outlining the COVID-19 Disease Map project in Nature's Scientific Data Journal.
A few weeks ago, this international collaboration started among more than 100 institutes to work on the biological pathways behind COVID-19. The combined efforts encompass 25 countries around the world, including partners from Reactome, WikiPathways, IMEx Consortium, Pathway Commons, DisGeNET, ELIXIR, and the Disease Maps Community.
New Publication on Nature's European Journal of Human Genetics
Last week, an ELIXIR paper was published in the European Journal of Human Genetics (EJHG). The article highlights ELIXIR's response against COVID-19, connecting data, tools and people across Europe.
We showcase the COVID-19 work of the ELIXIR Nodes and how we will link it to the Interconnected European Data Spaces.
COVID-19 Updates
OUR DEDICATED WEBSITE
We have created an ELIXIR COVID-19 webpage to list all ELIXIR services that support researchers working on SARS-CoV-2. The site will be updated periodically to display new resources.
You can track our advance on compiling COVID-19 projects by accessing our shared document that includes all services and initiatives from the Nodes.
This is an internal document. Please, do not share outside ELIXIR.
ELIXIR COVID-19 SLACK WORKSPACE
Please, use this to discuss and exchange ideas on SARS-CoV-2 research initiatives, consider collaboration opportunities across ELIXIR Nodes and share results of your work on COVID-19 with other ELIXIR members.
If you haven't joined the workspace yet, don't forget to connect with us on Slack or email Katharina Lauer to be part of the conversation
SELECTED NATIONAL INITIATIVES
ELIXIR UK is running the FAIRDOM-SEEK platform
The FAIRDOM-SEEK platform is a web-based resource for sharing heterogeneous scientific research datasets, models or simulations, processes and research outcomes. It is currently used in the COVID-19 Disease Map
ELIXIR Sweden is planning the collection of human sequences
The Swedish Node plans to gather human sequences (e.g. proteomics, serology) to store it securely in a local instance of the European Genome phenome Archive (EGA).
