Hub updates
The ELIXIR Heads of Nodes have agreed principles to select and renew Use Cases. As the development of the next five-year Scientific Programme for ELIXIR (2019-2023) starts in the autumn, we will also need to consider which Use Cases to include in that Programme. A Use Case Application template has been prepared based on the principles, and existing and new Use Cases have been asked to prepare a submission by 10 September. All submissions will be presented at the HoN meeting taking place 13 September in Basel.
Pablo Roman from the ELIXIR Hub will present a webinar on current and future plans for ELIXIR engagement with industry this Wednesday 19 July, 15.00 CET. Webinars are open for anyone to join and consist of a presentation followed by opportunity for questions and discussion. Join the webinar here.
Sheena Lee will be joining us this week as ELIXIR Administrative Officer, replacing Nicola Kay. Sheena's email address will be sheena.lee@elixir-europe.org.
Platforms and Use Cases will be presented at the ELIXIR Special track at ISMB/ECCB 2017 in Prague.
ELIXIR will also be have two exhibition booths at the conference - one as a general information point, manned by the ELIXIR Hub, and one as a demonstration area featuring ELIXIR Services such as TeSS, BioTools and InterMine.
If you would like to showcase the activities of your Node at the booth, please indicate your interest in this spreadsheet.
