The ELIXIR Industry Advisory Committee autumn Teleconference took place on 2 October. Topics of discussion included long-term plans for the ELIXIR Bioinformatics Supplier Forum, data management and ELIXIR Service Bundles, which will be explored in more detail at the face-to-face meeting, taking place 28 January 2020 in Hinxton.

Data management in the life sciences - a driver for innovation is our next Innovation and SME event. Held in Milan, Italy on the 27 - 28 November 2019, with four outstanding keynote speakers from academia and industry it's shaping up to be a great event! Updates from Communities

The ELIXIR Proteomics Community are sponsoring a Computational Proteomics session at the NETTAB/BBCC 2019 Meeting November 11 - 13 in Salerno, Italy. Deadline for late poster abstracts is 31 October 2019. ELIXIR members are entitled to a discounted registration fee.

Updates from Platforms

The final report of the project Towards a community-endorsed data steward profession for life science research, funded by ZonMw, DTL/ELIXIR-NL, UMC Groningen, Radboud University and UMC Utrecht is out now. Full details on the project can be found on the Zenodo website.
