We are specifically still looking for abstracts of possible oral presentations presenting recent advances in the benchmarking and assessment of structure-based drug design algorithms and programs, as well as their automation. See Activity 3 on the 3D BioInfo Community page

This hybrid meeting will highlight areas of collaboration, plan the future tasks, prepare for 2022-23 deliverables, and discuss the strategic planning of the 2024-28 Scientific Programme.

In this months special issue, two independent groups of researchers have proposed recommendations and guidelines for reporting machine learning approaches used in the life sciences. The DOME recommendations devised by Walsh et al. target four major aspects when reporting supervised machine learning applications: data, optimization, model and evaluation. A machine learning reporting checklist consisting of questions to the author is designed to assist in writing and reviewing machine learning-related papers.'

COVID-19 Data and code reuse competition

Would you like to contribute to the COVID-19 research efforts? The Swedish COVID-19 Data Portal is arranging a competition for small research projects that reuse publicly available data and/or code. The deadline is 5 December 2021.
Three winning projects will be awarded support from the SciLifeLab Data Centre to promote the project and/or to enable follow-up work.
