New version of the ELIXIR Handbook of Operation is now available on the intranet.

ELIXIR continues to be recognised as a Global Research Infrastructure (GRI) by the G7s Group of Senior Officials (GSO) on global Research Infrastructures. In 2018, ELIXIR helped the GSO develop a self assessment Framework for Global Research Infrastructures. The GSO have just published the result of our assessment as a guide for other research infrastructures.

Updates from Platforms

Take part in a short EOSC-Life Traininig survey. The information collected will help us ensure that the EOSC-Life training matches the needs of all BMS Research Infrastructures and integrates existing training resources. Please forward the survey to your training contacts in your organisation.

Updates from Communities

New Galaxy release (v19.05) has been announced. Read the release notes and the annoucement for users. The Galaxy Europe server was updated to this version.

You can still register for the Galaxy Community Conference in Freiburg, Germany, on 1-6 July 2019. The deadline for poster & demo submissions is today!

Registrations are open for two HPC workshops in Utrecht Netherlands, organised by ELIXIR Netherlands and SURFsara:

There is still time to register to the Software Carpentry Workshop organized by the ELIXIR Italy on 3-5 July in Naples.

The Istituto Superiore di Sanit of Italy, in collaboration with ELIXIR Italy (CNR) and the ELIXIR Netherlands (DTL), organise International Summer School on Rare Disease Registries and FAIRification of Data as part of a series of training activities proposed by the European Joint Programme on Rare Diseases (EJP RD). On 23-27 September in Rome.

Registration is open for de.NBI Summer School 2019 - (Bio)Data Science in Gatersleben on 2-6 September 2019.

The 2nd de.NBI Cloud User Meeting wil take place on 3-5 September 2019 in Heidelberg.
