New ELIXIR Hub visitor to support ELIXIR Compute platform

ELIXIR Hub is pleased to announce that Mikael Linden has joined the ELIXIR Hub as a visiting scientist from CSC -- the Finnish IT Center for Science (ELIXIR Finland).

Mikael has a strong expertise in authentication and authorisation infrastructure (AAI) and will support the work of the ELIXIR Compute platform. In the ELIXIR-EXCELERATE project Mikael will co-lead our work  to define and implement ELIXIR authorisation and authentication services to enable easy and secure user access to data resources and other ELIXIR resources.

Mikael Linden holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Tampere University of Technology in Finland. In CSC he has been developing and operating the Haka federation of user identities from the Finnish higher education sector. In addition to ELIXIR-EXCELERATE Mikael is , involved in the GEANT AARC (Authentication and Authorisation for Research and Collaboration) and eduGAIN projects.
