Position Paper on Sustainable Business Models for Open Data
We would like to receive any final comments on the draft position paper by 6 December. It will be finalised and published in F1000 channel the following week. Thank you to those who have contributed so far. The purpose of the document is to make a public statement about the charging models of the various types of resources that Nodes provide - from databases through to compute - and whether there are direct costs to users to access these. The question of charging models for users arises regularly in the context of discussions on the sustainability of ESFRI RIs to the EOSC. The public statement is intended to clarify ELIXIRs position.
