New Heads of Nodes are asked to review the updated templates of the Guidelines for ELIXIR Node evaluation by the ELIXIR SAB. These guidelines include the Node Application and Node periodic review forms.

Ongoing Final Reminder! The call for applicants to form an ELIXIR team for the 3rd edition of the Executive Masters in Management of Research Infrastructures is now open. Applications will be accepted until Fri, 20 September.

ELIXIR Beacon Network domain
ELIXIR-FI, as part of the ELIXIR Beacon 2019-2021 implementation study, is implementing a prototype ELIXIR Beacon Network, which is running at https://beacon-ui-beacon.rahtiapp.fi. Currently there are three ELIXIR Beacons connected to the network, and we have on-going discussions to connect more. The ELIXIR Beacon project proposes to move the current prototype to the https://beacon-network.elixir-europe.org domain. This domain would sit as a sub-Domain of https://elixir-europe.org/. ELIXIR-FI will remain responsible for the running of the prototype in CSCs Rahti cloud. We plan to implement this change as of 5 October.

ELIXIR::GA4GH Strategic Partnership session at GA4GH 7th Plenary Meeting
The GA4GH 7th Plenary Meeting will be held from 21-23 October 2019 at the Hynes Convention Center, Boston, USA. As part of this meeting there will be a 90 minute session for the ELIXIR::GA4GH Strategic Partnership, on the morning of Tue, 22 October. The agenda for this session is currently being drafted. We would like to focus on ELIXIR implementations of the GA4GH Products, as well as discussion of cross-Workstream, cross-Driver Project topics.
