The third round of ELIXIR Core Data Resource and Deposition Database selection will be launched this autumn. An additional step - to gauge the number of applicants - will be introduced into the process, to enable planning the scale of the process (eg.: number of external reviewers to recruit; requirements for the Ranking meeting)
Nodes wishing to submit an application to the call are asked to send an e-mail to core-resources@elixir-europe.org, stating simply the name of the data resource to be submitted, by Friday, 25 October.
The selection process will closely follow that used for rounds 1 and 2, as described for round 2 in the document "The Process for the selection of ELIXIR Core Data Resources".
