The public summary report issued by the ELIXIR Industry Advisory Comittee (IAC) following its first meeting, held in Hinxton on the 26 February 2015 is now available here.
The report sets out a number of examples of the value of open data resources to industry, and recommendations for how ELIXIR could develop links with Industry and Industry relevant initiatives and help industry make better use of these resources.
The IAC is made up of experts from users, including SMEs, suppliers and publishers and is appointed by the ELIXIR Board to provide ELIXIR with high-level, strategic advice and input from industry.
At the meeting Mark Forster of Syngenta was elected Chair of the ELIXIR IAC for 2015, and Wendy Filsell of Unilever Vice Chair.
