ELIXIR is pleased to announce that Friederike Schmidt-Tremmel will join ELIXIR Hub as Project Manager.
Friederike will take over the responsibilities for the management of the EU projects CORBEL and BioMedBridges including monitoring of project delivery and budget. She will lead the coordination of the two projects’ operation and ensure successful completion of BioMedBridges and the delivery of CORBEL.
Friederike Schmidt-Tremmel comes to ELIXIR with over 10 years of experience in EU project management. Before joining ELIXIR, she worked as EU Liaison Officer at Forschungsverbund Berlin e.V., the common administration of eight research institutes in Berlin. Previously, Friederike held EU grants management positions in science publishing and worked as an external evaluator of EU projects for the European Commission.
Dr Schmidt-Tremmel holds a PhD in Polymer Physics from Albert-Ludwigs-Universität in Freiburg, Germany.
