The three-part webinar series is aimed at researchers working in universities and research institutes in Romania. It presented the structure of ELIXIR and the benefits of ELIXIR membership to research organisations and individual researchers.

Session 1: Opportunities for collaboration and funding

The first session introduced the ELIXIR infrastructure, its structure and the different types of collaboration activities members of ELIXIR Nodes can get involved. It also explained how researchers from outside of ELIXIR can engage with the ELIXIR and contribute to ELIXIR initiatives. The session also presented experiences from other ELIXIR Nodes, highlighting funding and training opportunities.
Session 2: Collaboration in human genomics and translational data
29 September 2020
The second session presented the ELIXIR Human Data Communities and highlighted some of ELIXIR initiatives in this area. The topics to be discussed include Federated data infrastructure or ELIXIR contribution to COVID-19 research.
Session 3: Collaboration in Plant sciences
6 October 2020
The third session presented the ELIXIR Plant Science Community and the tools and services it develops. The presentations covered findability and integration of plan genetic data, metadata standards, or data management for plant phenotyping projects.
