N.B. This event was for employees working on the Wellcome Genome Campus only. External visitors were not permitted.

ELIXIR's open afternoon informed you about the operational and technical developments taking place. There were talks from Dr Niklas Blomberg, ELIXIR Director, Dr Ewan Birney and Dame Professor Janet Thornton. The day included talks about what's in it for you by Rafael Jimenez, ELIXIR CTO as well as presentations on ELIXIR within the Global Alliance for Genomics and Health and the European Genome phenome Archive (EGA) as a distributed resource within ELIXIR.

You also had the opportunity to meet the ELIXIR team and network with people on similar projects to your own over a lunch and a lovely slice of ELIXIR cake!
