Clarification of distinction between EMBL-EBI and ELIXIR:
- Separate entities existing in the same place
- EMBL as host organisation lending ELIXIR its legal entity and administrative support
- The Hub coordinates ELIXIR activities across the Nodes and the EBI participates in ELIXIR as one Node
Roles within the Node:
- Head of Node: Executive position
- Code Coordinator: Managerial role
